Aileen, the swan of the lost city. Story.
A female swan fell in love with an eagle.
She saw him flying over the
ruins of a lost city.
She lived in a lake full of water lilies,
alone in an immense tranquility of death.
The air when hard and when caressing over it,
he was building an invisible fence that cut her off her departure.
Did she want to leave?
The eagle chased the remnants of abandoning all over the
landscape.
He was also seeing her when he came down quickly to
attack.
The swan shook the neck to see her. She wanted him to see her,
no matter how dangerous it was to attack her.
One day, a rainstorm came into the landscape. A wild
storm that blew the flesh of the trees and screamed the wind in the debris.
Lightnings green-turquoise
dropped like blades near the swan that plunged her head into her white wings.
She knew she might not be saved. She thought the end was to come. That the
departure was this and never a journey away from the city's debris.
She thought, maybe, so, cowards deserve. Such an inevitable
end.
But, she suddenly felt her blood burning and a drop of
her throat flowing. She felt her body floating above the lake and rising more
and more. She was scratched by the nails of the eagle.
The
day dawned and a loud sun stroked her like a newborn
who was seeing life.
She was in a big nest above a steep cliff. Next to her
was the eagle. He did not devour her, instead, he stretched out his big strong
wings and covered her in.
And she calmly sat near him in this warmth.
In that wilderness they were alone, inexplicably
determined not to leave one another
away despite the end.
Until the death separates them.
